So last night...yeah, I got drunk.
Normal people would be ashamed by this. But we looooooong ago established that I'm not normal. That said, I'd had a difficult evening, and I wanted to have me some fun, what with the giggling and the dancing. Yes, I enjoy myself when I drink. So let us continue.
Anywho, last night, during my extatical Twittering (oh yeah, I also use the internet - mostly Lolcatz), I made a promise (sort of) to Liv that I would read "Twilight" - I always promised myself that I would NEVER, EVER subject myself to that terrible teenage trash (booya!), and only went to see the movie because it could be seen as a compromise by my female friends, who went on, and on, and on about how dreamy Edward is, and how they wished they were Belle (if I got that wrong, it's because I REALLY DON'T GIVE A FUCK!)...sorry, got a little distracted.
Anywho - don't like "Twilight". Although, that baseball scene with "Super Massive Blackhole" was pretty cool. And yet I promised to read it. Why was that?
Oh yeah - in exchange for reading the book, she'd do voices for all the characters. Now I think that's something we can all enjoy.
Cheery bye!

Ah yes, Twilight isn't all that great.
The first book is pretty good (although Stephanie Meyer has the literary style of a bored 14-year-old who's just read a stack of Jane Austen novels and dreams of meeting her own Mr Darcy) but they do go downhill from book two. And the ending of the last book was FAR too happy. I'd better stop myself there before I go into a rant.
And yeah, the Supermassive Black Hole baseball scene was pretty cool. But Edward and Bella were acted terribly, and personally I thought the minor characters did a far better job of it than the two leads.
Anyway, this entire comment seemed to be a rant about Twilight with no other content, so in absence of other content, please enjoy this smiley face.
=]
i actually thought it wasnt a bad read and that it got better later in the series. But yeah i was very dissapointed in the ending. all i can say is it was a massive anti-climax. ugh, but anyway you may enjoy it, even if it takes you a while to get into.
I'm actually not embarrased to be doing this because, frankly, i think my edward voice is sexy. Not how I imagine him to speak at all, but whatever. :P. How shall we do this?
